Tyson will celebrate his 12th birthday in exactly one week

The following pictures show Tyson in his every day routine,

which he is lucky to be able to do these days again,

after he was hurt in the early summer. The first three pictures show him together with Orca, his love. Both of them gave us the beautiful young female Enza just a few months ago

Once a week Tyson is allowed to join Hundemama at her office downtown in Darmstadt. He is resting until the time comes to go and buy breakfast.

On the way going to the bakery, he always carries his "pacifier" with him,

so when he meets little dogs, it does calm him down, because he does not like little dogs. Why? We do not know. He thinks, he is the King!

After he waited patiently in front of the bakery, he gets rewarded,

then Hundemama plays with him "catch the pacifier"

On the way home from work we stop in the woods

and go for another short walk. These pictures show how extreme alert he is even at his age!

This routine repeats every week

In the evenings when Hundemama finally gets some time to rest,

it will not take long and he is right there. And Boy, if Gino, his son comes near him and Hundemama, he makes a sound, it could frighten someone, who does not know him

Last September he was joining Hundemama for the Siegershow in Nürnberg. All of as sudden at night it did get very narrow in her bed. She woke up and guess what, he had crawled behind her in the bed. He knows that he is not allowed to do this at home, but maybe he thougt, at the hotel, they had different rules. Anyways, Hundemama got up out of bed, covered him and made this picture. She always says, he is more human than he is a dog.

We uploaded also two pictures of his son Gino here to show how much they look alike. This picture was taking in spring at the time when Queeny was still alive. Although she was already close to 13 years old, she still had this pround and alert look, like almost all of our Barretts have. That is what makes them so special and the way they act!


A few months after his injury, he was not as well yet,	but still wanted to carry the biggest branches he could find

Hundemama just loves him so much!!!!

Every year he loves to go on horseback rides with Hundemama

This time we had to take it easy,

but he managed pretty well and after the first week, he was walking two to three miles again

Hundemama is enjoying every day and every free minute with him. He sure is a special dog and who ever has or maybe will have a puppy from him or Gino will be very lucky! And after having this puppy for a few months, they will find out what Hundemama is talking about, when she says, that they are special. All of our dogs are beautiful and smart, but Tyson and Gino top this, when it comes the way they act in certain situations! It is difficult to explain, you have to live these dogs in order to understand!

Tyson being prepared for a breeding trial of the SV, which he passed on 23rd of August 2014

It was the preperation for another breeding trial, which is necessary for Tyson to be registered with the F.C.I. Club (SV) here in Germany. The judge could not believe, how he did perform at his age, going on 11 years. He did so well! Boy, do we hope, that he still will be able to "produce" "Tyson-puppies" again in the year 2015. We would love to own one more Tyson boy, but we know, that it will be up to nature to make these dreams come true! Please keep an eye on our "upcoming litter-page", maybe in the near future, we will be lucky to announce Tyson-puppies; at least one more time!

One more last picture of "Timo". Unfortunately he passed away not too long ago. The news made us very sad, because Timo meant for his family, what Tyson means for us. The children were small, when he moved into their home and they grew up with him. They took the loss very hard, but we hope, that we can bring a smile to the family of Timo again with one of Indis puppies at the beginning of December.

Timo is the first littermate of the T-litter, which had passed now. He was such a great dog!!! Unfortunately cancer is a sickness, which not only affects humans, also dogs more and more these days.

is still in good health

The owner of Timo cannot believe, that it has been over 10 years since he received his beloved "Timo".

And we do hope, that Tyson will be with us for more years and we sure hope,

that he will give us the chance to raise puppies again from him in 2014 and 2015

We also know, once a GSD has passed 10 years, that every day is a gift. So far we believe that all his littermates are still alive. We have not heard different, which actually speaks for the health of this bloodline.
