Above pictures show the girl "Toluca", a progeny out of Olympia and Tyson. Just recently she celebrated her 13th birthday.

The two seniors Reagan and Ulisel are doing fine

These two pictures we received of Rumi when she did celebrate her 13th birthday a few months ago. Just recently she did pass. She had a wonderful life with her owner Martha, some of us know her from our annual hikes.

Rumi was a daughter of Romy and Buddy

Not too long ago "Ali" passed away. The family enjoyed her so much. The was a very special dog. She did get along with everyone.

We do know that it is very difficult to let go of such a good friend, but to know that our friends were able to spend a wonderful life with us, helps us to get over these difficult times

We do cross our fingers now that a new Barrett girl can be part of this family in the near future

It took a few years for Dame-Ziva to get used to the house cat and then they even became friends

Jashari, a daughter of Dorcas and Tyson, is now 13 years old. She is a soul dog for her owner. Unfortunately, she recently had to separate from her white boyfriend, who died at an old age. Up until today she is playful and somehow funny, if you look at the pictures in the water and on the dog dog bed. Barretts are just special!

We wish her family many more joyfull days together with this great Barrett

The handsome male Randy recently left his owners at the advanced age of 13 years

Xira also recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Unfortunately, her death came very suddenly at the age of 11. She was diagnosed with a spleen tumor, which is often diagnosed in old dogs. Unfortunately, any help came too late.

At this point we advise all owners of seniors to have their spleen scanned every six months. If a change is found, have the dog operated

immediately. A dog can grow very old without a spleen

We wish all families a lot of strength for the coming time!

Fallon, a daughter of Yanka and Buddy, is still doing very well for her age. In the middle picture we see her with her friend Jonas, a son of Asti and Gino

Above pictures show Fallon's brother "Flash". Unfortunately, he recently crossed the rainbow bridge.

He had a lot of resemblance to his dad "Buddy". Whether male or female, Buddy always passed on the beautiful heads and strong bones to his offspring.

We are so happy that our sire "Champ" continues this wonderful bloodline

For everyone who owns such a wonderful dog comes that sad day, when we have to let them go. They might be gone from the earth, but in our hearts they will always be with us. Unitis, called Boomer, left lots of pawprints on their owner`s heart

The almost 15 year old "Quax" had also gone over the rainbowbridge this past spring, a progeny of Indra and Gustl

The female Xara "calling name Sunny" turned 14 years old last month. The pictures above were taken on that speciall day and also with her young one year old Barrett friend, which came into the family last year. She still lets him know who the boss is

We wish her the very best for the coming year and we do know that from now on every day is a gift for the owner to have this special friend

Here we see the male Buddy, who watches the news every day. Also a male from the Orca-Romy-Enza line. He likes to watch TV just as much as our Enza does. How such traits are inherited!

He comes from Romy / Joker, now 7 years old

Here we see 14 year old Barrett senior Bonny. What a great age for a German Shepherd

In 2021 the family had to say goodbye to their 11-year-old loyal companion, he was a descendant of Romy and Buddy
It won't be long now before another Barrett will enrich the family.

The owner of the 13.5 year old female Rana also had to say goodbye to her in early 2021
Meanwhile the family is enjoying two new Barretts.

Recently, Wessly, a son of Dorcas and Tyson, also crossed the Rainbow Bridge when he was 10
A few days ago a new young 8 months old Barrett female moved in. Already they cannot imagine a life without her.

In 2021 the male Ursus, a son from Queeny and Tabaluga, crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 13;
In 2022 a new Barrett will enrich the family again

A few days ago the female "Ginger", a daughter from Melody / Tabaluga, crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 12,5.

We wish all families who recently lost their Barrett a lot of strength for the time to come

And we wish the families who have now chosen to purchase another Barrett a lot of fun with their new family member. We wish all families HEALTH for the year 2022

At this point we would like to thank all those who have once again decided for a Barrett. Also for the trust they have placed in us a second or even third time and at times for the patience that has been shown until a Barrett was ready to move into the new home

Remark: We are very happy, that we were and still are able to continue the mother bloodline of "Cindy, Queeny, Orca" with our three dams "Enza", "Bacira" and the newcomer "Gwendi" and also the sire lines of "Buddy vom Kuckucksland" with our new sire "Champ vom Team Barrett" and the sire line of "Yakko" with our newcomer "Gerry vom Team Barrett" and the "Tyson"line with our "Gino" and "Lucky", both direct offsprings of our Tyson

Today we uploaded pictures of progeny and especially "senior-Barretts". They also deserve to be published here. They might not look so fresh anymore or their pigmentation became more pale, but they will be our friends forever. We wish all of them lots of HEALTH for the years to come. Thanks to their owners for sharing these pictures with us



Sunny, a female progeny of Tyson, is doing very well. She is still fighting for her stick. Her Barrett friend always wants to take it away from her

Shiran, a progeny of Dorcas and Athos. He did reach a very nice age of 13

Iwano, a progeny out of Queeny and Nex died early with 8 years. Nex, his Dad is doing very well. He will be 11 years old soon	Gabor, the brother of below female Grace died a few years ago

Below female died four weeks ago. She was the oldest Barrett, almost 15 years old when she passed away

Her name was Grace, she was a daughter of Queeny (the Mom of our Orca) and Tabaluga. She always loved the water, no matter what ......

Nixe together with her brother Nex. Below we see offsprings out of Nixe. Nixe sure enriched our breeding program. With every quality sire she produced quality puppies. Now she is retired and enjoying her life. She is 9 years old
