Cheyenne

Last update on April 23rd, 2013 We like to congratulate Cheyenne for passing her BH trial and also for receiving her HD and ED Status:

HD- and ED both excellent (in German "normal"), which is the best they can receive. Now the time has come to prepare her for the first IPO 1 trial and receive her breeding papers. More likely at the end of this year she will be "Mom" for the first time. Who will be the lucky one??? We do not know yet

Cheyenne at the last show in March 2013

She is a big boned female, she has beautiful long hair and great pigmentation. Selina and I only trained her for 6 weeks, each of us for 3 weeks, and she was able to pass her BH trial. When Cheyenne was just 8 months old, Hundemama tought her how to track. She did very well, so we think, she could be prepared for IPO1 trial in a few months. Her bite work is also very good according to her age.

Cheyenne grew into a beautiful young female

She has very nice long hair and a beautiful red pigmentation

Here she is together with the youngster "Gino" and "Hundemama"

September 16th, 2012

Cheyenne is 8 months old

For months had passed since we took the last

pictures of Cheyenne - further below -. She has developed into a beautiful, but yet very fisty young female

We had her pre-xrayed for HD end ED two days ago and according

to the Vet Clinic there is nothing to worry about at this time. We will try to continue to be very careful with her exercise for the next few months until she is full grown.

May 4th, 2012

Cheyenne was 16 weeks old,

when these pictures were taken

Usually we only take young dogs to our training place

to let them watch what the older dogs are doing

But Cheyenne wants to play already

so we play with her real gentle

and so does our trainer

and as you can see,

she loves this game and

proudly carries off her "little arm". She is such a sweety

February 29th, 2012

Cheyenne is almost eight weeks old

Now would be the time,

that Cheyenne would move into her new home

We are not ready for this move yet

We have decided not to give her up for sale at this time,

She reminds us on our "Gustl", a GSD out of the show-line

who had all the qualities of a GSD

We know, that the future will show,

if she would be good match with one of our males

Hundemama always says, it is easy to bring two dogs

together and have puppies, but it is very difficult to match the right dogs together

Our 12 year old Indra will like our decision

She takes care of Cheyenne just like it would be her own puppy. Because of Cheyenne Indra really became active again and loves to play tug games

Cheyenne

did win this time

Last update on February 21st, 2012

Cheyenne close to 7 weeks old

This was her first trip

away from home

She was exploring

the fields and a grass area

Beautiful puppy

Together with Indra

Here with Mom

Running like the wind

Resting

Let Mom have the stick

Watching

Together with Mom

All three together

The sun was shining for a moment

Back home

Getting ready to go to sleep

Last update on February 16th 2012

These pictures were taken when Cheyenne was 5 weeks old

Cheyenne, how she throws her legs

She is unbelievable, she does not want to let go

She reminds us on her grand-grandfather

"Gustl von der Köhlertanne"

We know already,

that she will be a "special girl"

She won!!!

Or did Romy let her win

Look at her front legs

Cheyenne feels so comfortable with her Mom

She looks more like a male puppy

then she does like a female

She has such a cute face

and is so alert

Here she starts to mess with Romy again

Just took the toy away from her

Now Romy is trying to get it back

They both struggle for the toy

Cheyenne is unbelievable, she does not let go

Now she is getting tired

February 14th, 2012

These pictures were taken when Cheyenne was four and a half weeks old

Cheyenne

is such a playful girl

Everything does interest her

Here she is taking the newspaper apart

Like a little clown, just like her Mom Romy

She has such a beautiful head

Now she is getting tired

Not only is Cheyenne beautiful, also her Mom

She takes such good care of her

and always so alert

Cheyenne between the age of two and three weeks

She feels so comfortable with her brother

She is not alone

Two weeks old

Cheyenne does not have any littermates,

so we had to make sure, then she will have some

When ever she was sleeping she is laying close to one

Mom Romy is always nearby

One week old

Romy is enjoying her small family

She takes so good care of her

These pictures were taken

when little Cheyenne was just one week old

She had the weight of two average puppies together

800 gr
