After searching for "new blood" for almost two years, Jennifer finally
did get lucky with the purchase of the newcomer "Bella von Vierhundert Hertz".
According to her bloodline she would fit perfect with the sires of House-Barrett. The
bloodline goes back to Tyson and Yakko. But most of all we do like her temperament,
how outgoing she is, totally fearless, she had a great upbringing (which to Hundemama
is most important when purchasing a new puppy for her. No matter what a good bloodline
the puppy might have and how great looking she might be, if the upbringing is not the
way Hundemama believes it should be, she will not purchase this puppy. The first 16
weeks of a puppy`s life is most important. Therefor the breeder has to do his best
during the first 8 weeks and the new owner has to continue with the sozialisation of
the puppy for the next 8 weeks after the purchase by introducing the puppy to all kinds
of things of our everyday life. If this is done correctly, the puppy has a chance to
develop into a wonderful and fearless friend.
Now Bella`s Mom, which Hundemama has known for a few years now does extreme good schutzhund work. As you can read above, she received the highest schutzhund title "SchH 3". Her daughter Bella has an extreme good bone structure and a great gait. Hundemama has high hopes for her. Throughout the months to come House-Barrett will keep everybody updated on her develpment.
An animal clinic in Heidelberg is doing a so called "study of the development of joints and bones for dogs in the first year". House-Barrett volunteered with Bella. So she will be monitored for the next 1 1/2 years. Since we believe, that young puppies should be kept slim and not being over exercised in the first year, it will be very interesting to see, how this study will turn out on Bella. We are always trying our best to breed healthy animals and we do everything what will help with the research on the health of a GSD.
At this time "Bella" is everything, what Hundemama likes
to see in a "true GSD", so she hopes, that Bella will continue to develop
like she did in the last weeks. She knows, that there still has to overcome a few obstacles,
before Bella would be able to enrich the breeding program, but she is confident, that
Bella will be able to renrich her breeding program one of these days.

Bella achived following titles in 2014/2015
She had been shown in the youth class at the championship GSD dog show in September of 2014 and received the title SG (dogs under two years of age)
She passed the IPO 1 in April 2015
She has received KKl 1 (breeding title) in April 2015
She has received an excellent Koerreport, which will be uploaded in the next two weeks.
She will as of now enter our breeding program and she will be the dam of one of our first early summer litters

This litter will be a Team Barrett litter and it will come with a F.C.I Pedigree, which is recognized by AKC or any other club in the world!

Bella turned out into an extreme beautiful female,
She has beautiful pigmentation
She is very smart and therefor learns very fast
A few months ago she did pass IPO1
Last Saturday she did receive her breeding papers
She was tested in schutzhund, which is required here in Germany
and as we see on these pictures, she listened very well and healed correctly,
she has a very good grip
For just being two years old,
she done very well according to the judge
She did "let go" on command
and sat correctly in front of the helper
Now comes the second part of the test
She has to catch the helper
She is very fast
and again she has this "full grip"
Hundemama is very happy with her
She done extremely well for such a young dog,
the judge said
Then Selina took her
into the ring
to get her warmed up
for the second part of the test, which is the conformation test
Now her conformation will be judged, her weight, her hight, her chest and of course
her gait
and her temperament
She received an excellent Koerreport

The last two pictures show, how good her temperament is. Bella performs
very well in schutzhund and at the same time she relaxes around strange people at the show! This makes her a perfect family dog and she also has a natural protection, even without being trained! To breed these kind of GSD is very important to "Hundemama"
For Bella`s first litter in late spring"Hundemama" has choosen the sire "Buddy vom Kuckucksland", which has an extremly good bone structure! Keep an eye on our webpage.

The other day we presented Bella in a "youth show" in Frankfurt
In this show only youth people under 21 could present their dog
Since it is a few days away until Jason turns 21, we thought, this was a good time
to show Bella again
We convinced Jason, that it would be good exercise for him and her
Both did very well as you can see on following pictures
Bella contiues developing very well
She has an extreme beautiful conformation with an easy gaitand such a nice face, Hundemama thinks
Meanwhile she had been x-rayed for HD and ED. According to the Vet her hips and elbows looks good. Now we are waiting for the results to come back
The judge "Mr. Scheld" gave Bella a great report, not only Bella, also Jason
for presenting her so well
Bella received another SG 1 title on that day
If the HD and ED comes back with good results Hundemama will start with her training!

Bella was taken to an SV show in Bellheim last weekend
She received the title "SG 1" in "youth class"
She received an extreme positive judge report
Bella has developed into a beautiful young female with a very good
conformation. Since almost two months now we took her by bike,
so her bones and ligaments will be well prepared for the upcoming
planned x-ray for HD and ED in May
If she gets a positive result, then we do have big plans for her for the future,
starting with another show at the end of May. Jason will show her and
hopefully we will be able to make some pictures of her during the show

Bella turned into a beautiful young Lady
She had her first birthday yesterday
We have plans to take her to the first show in April
She is still being monitored with her weight and exercise. She is doing very well
In a few months we will have her x-ray for HD and ED done. We will announce any news about her on this page in the near future!

Bella is doing great. She is almost 6 months old
Hundemama keeps her in good shape
She does weigh now appr. 44 pounds
Hundemama makes sure, that she will stay in her weight limit,
which will be good for her ligaments and joints and of course it will help to reduce her growing process.
That way she will get a so called "firm back"
She is an active female
with alot of potential
She learns easily

Bella is almost 16 weeks old
and she is developing well.
For the first time she went with "Hundemama" to the training place and as you can see made friends right away
She is everything what Hundemama likes to see in a GSD

Just when she was 8 weeks old, we did pick her up and brought her home
The timing was not that great, because Hundemama had her vacation planned,
but thanks to her friend Selina, "Bella" was sozialised by her as well
as if Hundemama had done it.
